A costume designer falls for the leading man three days before opening night — and must choose between the show and the secret.
Elena Marsh has dressed everyone else’s love stories for a decade. When the company’s charming lead finally notices her, three days before opening night, Elena must decide whether the romance is real or just excellent lighting.
Filmed in a working repertory theatre between seasons, the production used the company’s real wardrobe department as its set. The scarlet dress of the title was cut and stitched on camera.
